Weddings At The Malthouse

Let’s Get Married

Relax and enjoy your wedding day at The Malthouse, with your ceremony and reception all together in the same venue.

We are a licensed venue for civil ceremonies and also welcome humanist ceremonies and blessings. Your ceremony can be held in the Loft Suite, with its high vaulted ceiling, original beams and stunning stone walls.

You can personalise your ceremony, making it special and unique, by choosing readings and poems to be read by your family or friends, selecting your favourite music to walk down the aisle to, or even having your four-legged friend with you as a ring bearer!

Live music is always a fantastic addition to your ceremony. We can even recommend some of our favourite musicians too!

You can choose a ceremony at your church or we can recommend some beautiful local Churches

Wherever you decide to say ‘’I Do’’ we will be ready to greet you and your guests when you arrive atThe Malthouse for your wedding reception.

Let’s Celebrate

The Malthouse really is the perfect place to celebrate your Wedding Reception together with family and friends.

Take the opportunity to stroll for some romantic photos whilst your guests relax and chat.

We will serve your guests drinks and canapes in our Loft Suite or if the weather is kind, outside.

Whilst you relax, we will work closely with your chosen suppliers to ensure the flowers are all in place, candles are lit, and the cake has arrived!

Let’s Feast

The food you serve at your wedding is hugely important, your first meal together as newlyweds, shared with your friends and family, is cause for celebration!

Our chefs will help you celebrate your wedding day with food you’ll talk about for years to come.

Whether you go with a lavish 3 course meal,  or you opt for something more relaxed like our gorgeous sharing platters, we believe in good food, cooked with love, that will delight every crowd.

Let’s Drink

Our fully stocked bar is available throughout the day.

Whether you plan to treat your guests to a gin bar, cocktails, mocktails or craft beers, we can certainly have a drink for everyone.

If you’re taking advantage of our outside garden, and hopefully the weather is on our side, we can serve the arrival drinks and canapes whilst your guests take their seats, and enjoy the views.

Let’s Dance

It’s your wedding and you’ll party how you want to!

As dusk draws in on the golden hour and the mood shifts up a notch to the evening part of your wedding celebration, one thing’s for sure–by nightfall, it’s going to be an Epic party.

Kick off the evening celebrations with your first dance and enjoy music and dancing with up to 130 friends.

The fairylights will be dimmed to create the perfect atmosphere! Our Oak dance floor provides a great dancing space, and there is plenty of room for a band or dj to perform.
