The festive period is far and away our favourite time of the year here at The Malt, and we’ve put together a packed itinerary with a range of events from Market Days, to a Kids Party, and even a visit from Sheer Luck Holmes!
Of course we will be serving festive fayre throughout December, and we are taking bookings for Christmas Day.

Festive Fayre
Dates : 1st – 23rd December
Join us throughout December and enjoy our specially curated festive menu. Indulge in two courses for £24.95 or three for £29.95 – the perfect way to celebrate the season in style.
Our festive fayre menu is served all day, Monday to Friday, up until Wednesday December 23rd.
Booking is recommended, and large parties can be accommodated.

Christmas Day
Date : Friday December 25th
Celebrate the big day with an extra special festive feast! Join us on Christmas Day for a beautifully crafted dining experience filled with seasonal flavours and holiday cheer.

Afternoon Tea
Dates : December 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd
We are serving a festive themed Afternoon Tea every Wednesday in the lead up to Christmas.
Enjoy a selection of scrumptious sandwiches, savoury delights and sweet treats.
£27.95 per person, including tea or coffee. You can upgrade on the day to Prosecco, mulled wine or a festive ot chocolate.

Rioja Vega Evening
Date : Tuesday November 3rd, 7pm
Enjoy a sumptuous five course meal, with expertly paired wines from the Rioja Vega Winery.
The event will be hosted by award winning wine merchants, House Of Townend.
Expect an evening of beautifully crafted flavours, exquisite wines, and impeccable hospitality.

Whisky Tasting Night
Date : Friday November 20th, 7pm
Join us for an evening devoted to whisky, and raise a glass (or 5) with us.
There will be a carefully selected range of five premium whiskys to enjoy and savour with friends.

Wreath Making
Date : Wednesday November 25th, 6pm
Our ever-popular wreath making workshop return for two more dates in 2026.
This session includes an expert led tutorial where you will create your own bespoke Christmas
wreath to take home. Guests will enjoy a festive Yorkshire pudding wrap and glass of mulled wine included in the price.

Christmas Markets
Date : Sunday December 5th, 12-4pm
Our famous Christmas markets are making a return for 2026.
We will both indoors and outdoor market stalls, featuring a wide range of local traders.
Festive food and drinks will be available, and the evet is free to attend and open to all.

Charlotte Tilbury Masterclass
Date : Thursday December 10th, 6:30pm
Enjoy a drink on arrival, followed by a guided makeup masterclass from the experts at Charlotte Tilbury.
After the session there will be a private shopping experience with exclusive discounts

Children’s Party
