Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Malthouse for making our day perfect. Sarah and Lee went above and beyond and we had a smooth transition from our previous wedding co-ordinator.
Highly recommend for weddings if you’d like excellent service with beautiful decor, food, drinks and views, and every detail thought of in between.
From the minute I walked into the wedding open day, I knew the Malthouse was the venue for us and booked straight away.
Minarli was super helpful from start to finish and arranged a few meetings with us to ensure that everything was planned to a T. Down to timings and ideas where we could place decor.
Minarli and the team were there on the day to ensure everything went as planned and we had the most gorgeous day ever. The decor, food and staff were amazing and helped make our day extra special!
Fantastic evening! The Fawlty towers actors played their roles very well.
They interacted with our group with great humour Catering staff were excellent as well. A very well organised and entertaining evening. I will recommend the Malthouse for future events

What a fabulous night it was! Everything was well executed and the performance was brilliant!
Wasn’t really sure what to expect when the tickets were booked but loved that truly throughout the whole meal, including the service, it felt as though you were in Fawlty Towers.
On another note, the decor was beautiful and felt so Christmassy and cosy! Haven’t been to the Malthouse for a while but recent visit it feels more cosy and updated.
The staff were wonderful from the booking to the day of the event as I had couple of things that needed to sort out and it was done with ease!

The team were amazing throughout and made our day so special. The venue is stunning, I wouldn’t change anything about it. We wanted intimate & cosy, and that’s exactly what we got.
The food was beautiful. My guests have all complimented the venue and food non-stop.
I had my 40th birthday celebrations at the Malthouse and couldn’t have chosen a better venue.
I had 63 people, family and close friends, for a meal in the function room. After a quick room change around, we then welcomed a few more guests, with music/dj.
Minarli couldn’t do enough to help, answered all my questions and made sure everything ran smoothly on the night, nothing was too much!
The food was delicious and 2 guests said it was the best chocolate brownie they had ever tasted! I would 100% recommend this place and might be back in 10 years for my 50th. Thank you, Minarli and the Malthouse team.

Thank you so much to everyone at The Malthouse who helped with our wedding reception. The evening was perfect.
Minarli and the team were so helpful, from my very first enquiry, to helping pack decorations away in the evening. Could not fault them!
We recently eloped and wanted a quaint charming yet rustic location to celebrate with friends and family and this venue was absolutely perfect.
The food is the BEST! We received so many compliments from guests about how lovely and scrumptious the food was that many guests have since returned to try the Malthouse roast dinners, myself included 🙂
At the time of our wedding reception the venue had recently been decorated for Christmas and WOW! the whole building felt magical and romantic with all the twinkly lights and candles. I’ll never forget that evening, it was perfect.
The hotel rooms are beautiful and so comfy, the breakfast the next morning was a winner!!! Thanks guys! We’ll be back soon!!
What an excellent event, apart from the soup (you’ve got to have been there*), the food was excellent and the entertainment even better.
We laughed out loud from start to finish. I would highly recommend experiencing this excellent event.
*Malthouse notes – Faulty Towers actors may occasionally place a set of teeth, etc in the Soup of a guest they serve!
